Diagnosis is done on the basis of digital X-rays that are performed on all patients to detect the presence of any decay, bone loss, infections, or abnormalities. We use a high-tech digital X-ray system and also perform panoramic X-rays, which capture an image of the entire mouth including the teeth, upper and lower jaws, surrounding structures, and tissues.
Dr. Vastare performs extensive and comprehensive oral examinations on all of his patients, new and existing. During the exam, Dr. Vastare will thoroughly check the patient for any abnormalities as well as evaluate for any risks of oral health problems.
During dental cleaning for both adults and children, any plaque, tartar build-up, or stains that have accumulated will be removed.
